A taste of Hindu culture

FireworksThis past weekend a Hindu festival took place – Diwali (Deepavali). Diwali is called the “Festival of Lights”.  It symbolizes the victory of good over evil.  The celebration is also important to Jains and Sikhs.  It’s celebrated all over the world, in India of course, but also in Nepal, Canada, the UK, the US, and many other countries

I thought this would be a good opportunity to point you to some posts, new and older, that talk about Hindu culture.  First, this recent post about Diwali [link no longer available].
