News, RSS, Feeds – An Important Reminder

With the demise of Google Reader last week, many people have been learning about the value of feeds and have been trying to figure out what to do with them.

As for me, I’ve started following missionary blogs on Feedly.  Though not perfect, it has some distinct advantages over some other readers – it’s been around a while, it’s got iOS support, and it’s free!

So this is just a reminder that we have a couple of great feeds you can subscribe to here.

First, if you want a random sampling of hundreds of missionary blogs, constantly updated, you can use this feed:

And, of course, if you want to subscribe to this blog, you can do that using this feed:

Finally, don’t forget to subscribe to your favourite missionary blogs!  On Feedly you can categorize them (ie by country), and then see the latest – and don’t forget to pray as you read!

If Feedly isn’t your style, you can use Firefox Live Bookmarks and Microsoft Outlook – and many great feed readers!

Thanks for subscribing!

I transferred my subscriptions to Digg Reader in minutes and the interface is even cleaner than google’s. Feedly was a bit much for me. I read that Digg Reader was created specifically in response to Google Reader closing down. And it shows — it’s a very intuitive, minimalistic tool. Enjoying it.
