Picnics, Doctors, and Moving On…

Today I have just three glimpses into some other lives and cultures for you.  First, some pictures of a Church Picnic in Guatemala.  Making chirmol, relaxing, playing… check it out!

Next, in the post Seeking Medical Truth, thoughts on trusting or not trusting doctors, and the challenges of living in a country with limited resources (well, ok – every country has limited resources, but I mean more limited than some!).  The post begins,"Imagine going to the doctor with your child and leaving unable to trust in the doctor’s diagnosis. How would you feel? What would you do? Who would you turn to?"

Finally, some missionaries ponder some of their reasons for moving to a new location in Antofagasta: The Opportunities Ahead.  The move might seem foolish, but it has its advantages (kinda sounds like the Christian life, doesn’t it?).
