Poverty is something that’s been on my mind a lot lately.  Of course, in some ways it seems like it’s been on everybody’s minds – in the news, and so on.  But if it’s so much on our minds, are we really doing anything about it?

I appreciated this heart-felt post from Hannatu’s Happenings about Niger.  The post talks about lack of rain and has some incredible photos of dust storms.  I lived on the prairies and so I’ve seen dust storms, but nothing like this.  Check it out at Rain for Niger.
