All right, so it’s just another fun way to discover new blogs! I admit, I cheated a bit with X. But the Rapp family has to get some kind of a prize for their creative use of that misunderstood letter.

I do believe I managed to have 26 different countries as well.

So enjoy this quick alphabetical tour of the world, and go leave a comment on a blog you’ve never commented on before!

Way back in August, after we posted the wonderful tips from many bloggers regarding missionary care packages, I promised that I would pick a contributer at random to receive a care package courtesy of Missionary-Blogs.com. Ok, so I’ve been a little slow.

But I would finally like to announce the winner! Coming from Canada and serving in Australia, please send your congratulations to Bill Hutchison! Here’s his care package post.

Circumstances being what they were, I didn’t follow all of the care packages advice, but Lord willing over the next month or two Bill and his family will be receiving some books as a thank you from all of us.

As you can see, Bill is preparing for his Australian Citizenship Test (in just over a week). He also just celebrated his birthday (see what he did), and is struggling with lacking tools he uses for his work.

If you’d like to contribute to this site and surprises like this for the missionary bloggers we talk about, just throw some change into the tip jar!

Of course, every one of our bloggers is involved in media ministry, through the internet! Many are also involved in using other types of media in ministry – radio, TV, internet, films, and more.

Today we’re going to look at some of those people whose lives are focused a little more closely around radio and related ministries. Radio ministry involves travel, construction, computer work, broadcasting, recording, diplomacy, and much more. Let’s visit some of those people now:

Willing Mind: One the move! Here’s a video blog about radio ministry in Australia, and moving on to Singapore…

The McCrackens’ News: In Ecuador, experiencing everything from Bible studies to computer work. Read a recent update here.

It’s always fun to hear from missionaries who are just preparing to move their lives into a new culture. I recently came across the blogs of some people that are about to do just that – destination: Australia.

Take for example, the author of Ye Olde Blog. Actually, he hasn’t posted for a while (hope there’s more soon!), but he’s also got a MySpace page with more information about his current ministry (warning: the page plays music when you land on it). What brought this move about? Read the post from the 22nd of January for the details.

Secondly, please check out the blog of Gerard & Rebecca Adriaanse. They’ve been in Costa Rica and Aruba, and are now getting ready for the big move down under. These guys are involved in radio work and website design.

Now that you’ve checked those out, why not visit some of the missionaries that have been in the country for a while – read more about missionary work in Australia

Millions of readers want to know – do we have missionaries in Australia? Of course we do! Started waaay back in June of 2004 was Bill Hutchison’s YWAM Journal. Bill is married (to a wife, according to his brief bio) and has a three year old son and a four month old daughter. One thing that Bill is involved in is “Communications and Information Technology”, which might interest some of you who are wanting to improve your communication through technology. Bill is a Canadian from Calgary, Alberta.

Also, be sure to visit Peregrine Sojo – Kitty’s Kronicle. Kitty is in Melbourne, Australia. She’s involved in creative arts and missions mobilization, among other things. Her blog is always thought provoking. Kitty is from Hong Kong.

From everywhere, to everywhere – this is the face of missions today. And yet there are still those all over the world who have no idea who Jesus really is. Will you be a part of getting the Truth to the world?
