26 Missionary Blogs (from A to Z)

by Jim on 21 February 2011

in Special themes

So I was just sitting here and wondering if I could make my very own A-Z list of missionary blogs.

All right, so it’s just another fun way to discover new blogs!  I admit, I cheated a bit with X.  But the Rapp family has to get some kind of a prize for their creative use of that misunderstood letter.

I do believe I managed to have 26 different countries as well.

So enjoy this quick alphabetical tour of the world, and go leave a comment on a blog you’ve never commented on before!  ;)

Life in Italy

by Jim on 19 January 2011

in Country highlights

Today we’re taking a look at missionary bloggers in Italy.  First, from The Roterts in Italy, looking back at the end of 2010 in the post Where does the time go?  Then some reflections on the use of tracts in the post There is Nothing New Under the Sun.

And very appropriate after my last post, Ode to the Veterans from Under the Marchegian Sun.  But these aren’t blog veterans (many of whom are fairly new missionaries!), but veteran missionaries in Italy.

And now, from Caleb and Linda’s Update Site, and older ministry post Live a Trieste: Nicola Milone.  Caleb and Linda just finished up a visit to the USA according to Heading Home.

Finally, don’t miss the great photos from Henry and Michelle.  This is one of my favourites.

Series on culture

10 May 2008

It’s always fun to do a series on a blog, and there are many different ways to do it.  One of the best is to pick a cultural topic, and post pictures with a description (or a description with pictures) over a period of time. I thought you might be interested in a couple of [...]

France and Italy (or is it Italy and France?)

6 July 2006

Three cheers for Italy and France! The last two teams standing at the World Cup.  We’ll see how it all ends in 3 days. Of course, this is a great excuse to think about and pray for those serving the Lord in these countries.  And so, in honour of the occasion, here are 3 blogs [...]
