Literacy is a problem all over the world – yes, even in countries that statistically have a near 100% literacy rate.

So just imagine the challenges in a country where, according to the statistics, only about 2/3 can read. Many of those are probably not reading well and understanding – and are probably not teaching others.
That’s the state of affairs in the country of Nicaragua. And that’s why I’ve really enjoyed reading about literacy efforts going on there in the Name of the Lord.
