I appreciated this overview of what’s been going on in a little corner of Haiti over the past few years. Of course many of us see the news and have a vague idea, but getting a bit more of an overview makes it much more real.
When Steve first went to Haiti he saw a people without hope. He thought he knew poor people having grown up with the Yanomamö people in Venezuela who seem to have nothing. But after he saw the people of Haiti he knew the Yanomamö had much much more. They are a people that have the whole rain forest to live in. Cool trees and clean water to cool off in.
